I had a rough time selecting someone to install doors in my apartment building. Most companies we talked to didn't really deal with apartment buildings and didn't know all the concerns. Also, I didn't want to spend a lot but wanted the best for the money. Most of the "contractor's grade" doors I saw were crap. Jim and his team actually showed me doors that I was happy with that could withstand heavy every day usage. My tenants were happy with his installers and their service. They were polite, quick and cleaned after themselves. I will use this company again.

Apartment Building Upgrade

We have an apartment building that needed to be upgraded with new windows and doors. Jim came by and gave us an estimate. We told him at the end of our meeting that we are not ready to buy and have other estimates to do. What I liked was that he continued to answer our questions. We did get other estimates but decided to give Jimi our business. Everything was spelled out and discussed when we were signing our contract. The installation started on the dot. I decided that they will do two apartments per day not to disturb the rest of my tenants. Installers were polite, quiet and clean. Not one complaint from any of my tenants. Will use them again.

Happy camper!

I was told by at least two other contractors that we needed new contraction installation. But that would be a hassle because of stucco. California Window Depot sold us windows that had a wide enough outer trim to retro cover the gap and still make our house look beautiful. And without any stucco problems. Definitely use again. Thank you.

Our duplex looks great! Thanks guys

California Window Depot did a great job replacing our old windows and doors. We did not want vinyl. Finally, chose clad wood. More expensive then vinyl but more beautiful also. Jim suggested to do a particular color combination that I was not crazy about at first. But after the installation, we saw the benefit of what he suggested. They spent time with us walking us through the whole process. Installers were nice and clean. We had an issue with the bedroom 2 window. The issue was resolved promptly. Also, when we wanted to change the obscure glass design, after the installation started, they did it and not charged us. Thank you again.

Happy landlord!!! No leaking after heavy rains.

Wanted to have leaky windows and doors in my building and hired CWD to do the installation. It was tricky because some windows had a wooden trim on a "block frame" was needed. They made those looks great. And they were not cheap about doing a quality wood trim. They also replaced some shower doors. Tenants were happy I'm sure. All in all everything looks great.

Honor their promise

I had a fiberglass entry door in my house replaced by California Window Depot some 5 years ago. One of the panels bubbled up. I called the office and the tech was sent out to assess what was wrong. It was determined that the panel was defective and manufacturer had to replace it. I was out of free labor warranty but California Window replaced it free of charge. Lisa and Josh were great. They kept on top of it til the job was done. Thank you, guys.

Shower Door Happy!!!

I so happy that I got California Window Depot to do my shower door. My walls are uneven. My wife wanted a designer shower fixture. Everything had to be dome custom, from scratch. The glass enclosure had three panels and she wanted to have a step leading to the shower. It took 8 weeks to get the materials and installers worked about 9 hours to get this finished. It looks gorgeous. The project was expensive and included some plumbing. We love it.

Apartment Building Shower Doors

CWD replaced shower doors in my apartment building. They gave me very good price and did a great job. Installers spoke good English and were very polite. They cleaned after themselves. They did some tile work. I will use them again.

My Aluminum WIndows

My husband and I have been looking to replace 8 windows and 3 sliding doors in our Pacific Palisades home for awhile but have been postponing it. We had four estimates and everyone was shoving vinyl down our throats. We told California guys to bring only aluminum windows. Well, they did exactly that. They explained how the installation will take place. Delivery came before the deadline. They did not rush. Were polite and clean. Showed how to use new windows. There was one factory glitch where a piece of rubber was sticking out a little on one of the sliding doors. We got a call from factory one day after install and they came out and fixed it two days later. I've been calling Josh to ask questions my husband has and he's been very patient explaining everything in detail. Thank you, California Window Depot.

Great Entry Door

We had to change our entry door because it was old and discolored. We went to several showrooms and were not impressed. Wanted to get something unique that Home Depot and Lowes did not carry. Josh showed us some doors that we have not seen anywhere. The locks looked good and secure. We will recommend.

Great Customer Service and Support!

We got our windows from this company. What a difference. Before contacting them we interviewed two others and were not impressed. Both companies came to pitch the windows they carry. The California WIndow guy actually tried to find out what we needed and spent time explaining what's available on the market for our project, not just what they carry and how to fit it into our house. We were happy with what we saw signed a contract. One week later the crew brought our windows. They were on time and knew what they were doing. They walked us through on how to properly use and maintain our windows and cleaned after themselves. We will recommend these people.

Very Professional and Highly Recommended!

We just remodeled our townhouse and had our windows, doors and sliding doors installed by this company. We got a good deal in terms of the price considering the quality of the product and service in general. The team worked in a timely manner, and made sure that everything was clean before they left. I got their phone number through a friend's referral and was very satisfied with their service. This company came closest to our budget. They workded with our HOA, which is not an easy task, to provide the brand that was preferred in our complex. Installation was clean. The installers even helped to move our furniture even though we were asked to to move it ourselves before everything started. When done, they took the old windows and door away and walked us through how to use our new windows. No problem to recommend to others.
